NEWS

July 30, 2020: Due to the health context, the R3ASC'20 organizing team has decided to cancel the conference. This is really a pity, as we shall miss an opportunity to meet and exchange ideas on aerospace actuation. However, we can find two positive points in this decision. First, priority has been given to health (and also richness of presentations and attendance). Second, the next R3ASC planned in 2022 will be richer with 4 years progress to address since R3ASC18.

We sincerely thank the authors for their effort to propose a communication and prepare their full paper.  They are now free to use their abstract submission and full paper for another conference.

All paid registrations will be totally refund.

We hope to welcome you in 2020 for R3ASC'22, in a much better context!

General information

The R3ASC international conference is organized by the School of Mechanical Engineering of the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées and the Institut Clément Ader  laboratory.

Initially established on a three year cycle, the conference is now held every even year in order to alternate with the Aircraft System Technology (AST) conference that is organized every odd year by the Institut für Flugzeug-Systemtechnik of the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg.

The R3ASC'20 conference is re-scheduled November 18-20, 2020 in Toulouse, a leading aerospace industry city in Europe. It will be held at Hotel Mercure Compans Cafarelli that is located in Toulouse city center.

Presentations will begin at 8.30 a.m. on Wednesday, 18 November and end on Friday, 20 November, 2020 after the tutorials. The conference language will be English. On Thursday, 19 November, 2020, the delegates will be welcomed for the conference banquet.

For those delegates interested, tutorials will be organized at INSA on Tuesday, 17 November, 2020 afternoon. The first one will be dedicated to the sizing of multi-rotor drones. The second one will address the virtual prototyping and real-time simulation of electromechanical actuators.
