Dear Author,

The organizing committee of the Recent Advances in Aerospace Actuation Systems and Components, R3ASC'20 will be very pleased to welcome you as an author. We sincerely thank you for contributing to the success of this conference.

1 - Abstract

The abstract submission deadline is January 10, 2020. Abstracts are submitted using the conference website, in 3 steps. Language is English, exclusively.

As a backup means, abstracts can be submitted as a pdf file sent to Martine Bisauta, scientific secretary of R3ASC'20. A confirmation of reception will be issued once the submission will have been checked.

Step 1. Preparation

Please prepare the following inputs :

  • Heading: Title, name of author(s), affiliation, address, email
  • Keywords
  • Content: 500 words typically, emphasizing the main scientific/technical advances (Pls note that commercialism is not the purpose of the conference)

Step 2. Creation of an account

PLS create you account using the October  conference website.

Step 3. Abstract submission

Go to MySpace/Submission tab and fill the fields as requested.

 

2 - Full paper

Notification of acceptance will be sent to authors February 4, 2020.

In order to help the author(s) in the preparation of the full text and to get high quality proceedings, we have put on the website a Sample of final paper.

Please note that your paper will be printed without any modification exceped the page numbering.

Also note that when delivering the final paper, the author(s) will be asked to join a signed coppyright form.

The final paper has to be sent by email (not using the conference website) to Martine Bisauta in both Acrobat (pdf) and MS(word) formats. Deadline is 9 October, 2020.

2.1 Final acceptance of the paper

The oral presentation will be included in the conference agenda and the communication will be inserted in the printed and electronic proceedings if:

  • The payment of one registration (or the receipt of your purchase order) is received by the full paper submision deadline due date. If it is not possible, please contact the conference organization secretary rapidly.
  • A signed copyright form is provided with the final paper. By filling, signing and sending this form the attached Copyright form, the authors agree to transfer the copyright of their paper to the conference organisation for publication in the conference proceedings.

2.2 Recommendation for preparing the full text communication

In order to guarantee the quality publication of the proceedings, the authors shall follow the under-mentioned specifications for preparing their paper:

Language. The language to be used for the papers is English.

Final paper. The paper should be camera-ready. It must be typeset by computer and word processing software and delivered in the pdf format (Acrobat Reader). Colour is welcome for figures and images only.

Paper size. Use a vertical A4 paper (210 x 297 mm).

Margins. Left and right margins are 15 mm, top margin is 20 mm, bottom margin is 25 mm (printing area is 180 x 252 mm).

Columns. Manuscript must be typed two columns with a 6 mm column separation.

Length. Typical expected length for papers is 5 to 6 pages, including figures.

Units. Internation units are required in all papers. Special units can be added in brackets.

General organisation

Headings level 1: Arial 12 bold, left aligned, 2 linespaces before, 6 points after.

Sub heading 1: Arial 11 bold, left aligned, 1 linespace before, 3 points after.

Body: Times New Roman 10, justified.

Equation numbering: see sample attached

References: see sample attached

Notations: see sample attached

Page numbering. Please to not number pages. It will be done automatically when editing the proceedings.

 

3 - Poster

The authors of a poster are in charge of printing and bringing it to the conference.

For a good readability, the poster shall be printed in A0 format (or equivalent). There is no particular template to follow. However, the poster has to be structured in order to clearly highlight the work objective, proposals and main results. The duration of the presentation of the poster shall not exceed 10 minutes.

A panel will be provided by the conference organisation to hold the poster.
